Whether you are a returning swimmer or new to our team – Welcome! We are so glad you are here and we are looking forward to a fun-filled summer. Our team is not just about talent, we are a family! We swim together, play together and form lifelong friendships. We are the Kingfish!
Established in 1974, the Chevington Woods Kingfish Swim Team has been instilling a passion for swimming since its foundation. Many swimmers who swam their very first races in our pool when they were 4, 5 or 6 years old, have gone on to become Olympic Trial Qualifiers, National Champions and All Americans. Many of our former swimmers come back with their children. Some former swimmers even come back and serve our team as coaches, having a desire to pass along all that they learned and experienced as Kingfish to the next generation of swimmers.
We take pride in providing all aspiring swimmers with an opportunity to not only experience all that the sport of swimming has to offer, but to also be part of an encouraging and supportive swim family!
Registration Update: Registration for existing swimmers: Open Sunday March 15, 2026
Registration for new families: Open Sunday March 29, 2026
Registration will close Sunday May 31, 2026 or when we reach capacity (220 swimmers).
* Please note: Because Chevington Woods Pool is a private club, you must be a member of the pool in order to swim with our swim team. If you have any questions regarding this requirement, please reach out.

Swim Lesson Information
NEW IN 2026! We will no longer be offering group lessons. We feel that private lessons provides our families with a more individualized and customized experience. Private lessons are available to all members of Chevington Woods Pool (please note: you must be a member of the pool in order to register for private lessons).
Private Lessons:
Private lessons are available. Dates and times are dependent upon instructor availability. Requests for private lessons will be coordinated by our swim instructors.
