End by 11:30ish (must be out by 12 noon)

Note: All 11 and over events will have flyover starts. That means when your race is done (except in backstroke) you stay in the water and the next heat will dive over you.

Timers: 2nd half timers, we ask that you are ready to go by event 32. You will wait at the shallow end of the pool in a lane ready to relieve the first half timer when they switch over for 25 backstroke (event #35). We cannot have any delay in switching timers.

First half timers be prepared to stay as we will continue the meet if your replacement is not there yet. We will find someone for you. We will not stop to hand off and make an official switch.

Camps: Huntington Hills and Pickerington will set up Camps out the gate by the diving well. Chevington will be located in the upper parking lot. There will be no camps inside the fence. Tents are allowed but MUST be 7ft apart and Anchored down. We ask that parents and swimmers not congregate in and around the pool deck if they are not swimmer/watching their swimmer). This will help keep capacity numbers down.

The food trucks will be close to the entrance of the pool. If possible, Chevington will need to set up more in the parking spaces and towards the back of the lot. We also have to allow for the food trucks to be able to pull in and not have camps set up right there in the front entrance and driveway.

Parking: Parking will be in lower lot, on the street and in the Sherman Center. If people park on Stonecreek Drive, they cannot block people's driveways.

Bullpen Numbers: Will be posted by the diving well and by the front entrance.

Concessions: There will be a concession stand (cash, venmo (different than last year), cash app) Food Trucks - Porter's Coffee, Kona Ice and an Ice Cream truck

There will also be raffles to bid on

LOCATION. Dresden Swim Center, 1330 Main St, Dresden, OH 43821, 740.754.6567, 8 lanes, 25 yards. Location - Dresden Dorados Summer Swim Team (swimtopia.com)

PARKING. Team parking is available in the Swim Center parking lot. Additional parking is available on either side of the venue in the lots at Dresden Elementary and Tri-Valley Middle School.

SCHEDULE.

5:00pm – Dresden warm-ups 5:30 pm – Kingfish warm-ups 5:30 pm – Officials’ meeting 5:40 pm – Timers’ meeting 6:00pm – Meet starts VOLUNTEERS. We appreciate all volunteer help from our visiting teams! Stopwatches will be provided. We request that your team bring: TIMERS – 6 timers (or more if you want to split the shift) BULLPEN HELPERS – 2 (or more if you want to split the shift) OFFICIALS – 2-3 please AWARDS – 2 please

AWARDS. We request that your team bring a supply of ribbons…unless we are resupplied by the league soon.

OTHER DETAILS.

For safety reasons, only the competition course will be open to meet participants. All other areas of the pool, including the diving well, shallow splash area and wading pool are CLOSED during the meet. Please ask your teams to help us support this pool policy. Locker rooms and showers are available. Team camping and spectator seating is available in the park area surrounding the pool. Feel free to bring tents and chairs. For the safety of our swimmers, photography is NOT permitted from behind the blocks and in the locker rooms. Concessions will be available onsite. Heat sheets and athlete entry lists will be emailed to teams on Wednesday morning. Spectator heat sheets will also be available for $1 at the concession stand. Upon conclusion of the meet, please have your team clean up their areas and place trash in the receptacles provided. Due to facility policy, stormy weather with lightning in the area will cause a meet delay.

AFTER THE MEET, STOP FOR A TREAT! We invite all our visiting teams to support our GOLD Team Sponsor 1340 Café & Sweet Shop for soft serve & hand dipped ice cream, milkshakes and more after the meet. The 1340 Café is in front of the Dresden Swim Center on Main Street. They are planning to stay open until 10pm on meet nights
